Abstract(EN)
Kabir Das Ji cannot be seen merely as a poet; he is also known as a social reformer and religious thinker. His works are not only significant in the field of literature but also hold importance from social, religious, and ethical perspectives. His couplets (dohās), devotional songs (bhajans), and other poetic compositions raise social awareness and inspire reflection on crucial issues of religion, society, and humanity. The diverse issues he raised—such as social discrimination, religious prejudice, and the importance of fundamental human rights—are reflected in his writings. Furthermore, Kabir Das Ji's struggle, both personal and social, against the socio-religious problems of his time is evident through his poetry.
