Abstract(EN)
Developed India @ 2047 is a long-term national resolution in India's development journey, aiming to make India a socially just, economically prosperous, healthily robust, and gender-equal nation by its centenary of independence. Women's empowerment and universal health have been accepted as central pillars in this vision. This research paper presents a women and health-centric sociological analysis, taking Singrauli district of Madhya Pradesh as the study area. Singrauli district is a major hub for industrial development, coal mining, and energy production, but along with this, it also faces environmental crises, displacement, health inequality, gender disparity, and socio-structural problems. The research analyzes the social status of women, availability of health services, effectiveness of government schemes, and future possibilities in Singrauli for achieving the goals of Developed India @ 2047. If the concept of Developed India @ 2047 is to be realized at the grassroots level, it is imperative to bring women's health, social status, and environmental justice to the center of development policy in industrial districts like Singrauli.
