Abstract(EN)

English Translation

The period 1942-1947 of the Indian Independence struggle represents its peak. During this time, not only the leadership but also the masses were determined to protect their self-respect and liberate Mother India. Even though the top leadership was working towards India's independence through their own methods – for example, Subhas Chandra Bose was trying to liberate India from outside the country, while Gandhi and other leaders were using different methods for India's freedom – one thing is clear: the Indian people were no longer concerned with the purity of means and ends; they only saw the end. They were not concerned about the means.
