Abstract(EN)

English Translation

Indian painting is one of the world's oldest and most diverse art forms, which has not only been a medium of beauty but also a carrier of deep sensibilities of society, religion, and philosophy. This research paper presents an in-depth study of the traditional roots, styles, aesthetics, and transformations of Indian painting in the modern era. From the caves of Bhimbetka to Ajanta, Mughal, Rajasthani, Pahari, Bengali, and modern contemporary art, painting has developed many dimensions of its expression. This research highlights the fact that Indian painting is not merely an art of sight, but an art of consciousness and self-realization.
